Memphis is playing Utah State right now, and Jay is not the starter.

He and the QB are tied with the most carries for the Tigers so far (7) but he's only turned that into 21 yards. But he does have 1 reception for 15 yards.

Hope he's enjoying himself.

Good for him. He carried the ball 2 more times than the quarterback who gained negative 26 yards.

Hmmm..

I seriously don't give a rat's ass about him but that doesn't mean I have to refrain from making snide comments.

He clearly made a decision that was best for him and got him closer to the draft (#sarcasm). And along the way, he probably got a few coins worth of NIL money (which far outweighs anything he might get down the road...I'm sure.

Either way...do I need to get a life? Probably. But then again, I'm pretty content in the life I have and if that includes making a snide comment here and there...I'm good with that as well.

Other comments on that game…the Memphis QB’s (Seth Henigan)great grandfather had a bar downtown Dekalb (Punk’s dugout) his great great uncle (Harry Henigan) is in the NIU hall of fame his grandfather and great uncle (Mike and Terry Henigan) played football for NIU on the undefeated 1963 NIU football team. Ok back to Decker…..

That is a really cool insight. Thank you for sharing. What a small world.

Wasn't Childers originally a Memphis Tiger as well?

Ducker ended up with 83 yards which the radio announcers said was his best game of the season. Most of it on a 48 yard run on his second touchdown.

RE: Jay Ducker sighting
I live in the DFW area and went to this game. I was at the 50 yard line and seven rows up from the Memphis bench. It so happened that the RBs were stationed there, probably because the stationary bike was there. Memphis rotated several RBs during the game with two getting the bulk of the carries. Henigan is definitely the driver in that offense. For what it's worth, Jay had good body language on the sidelines and seemed very engaged. And, no, I'm not a relative or friend of the family, but I was still happy to cheer for Memphis.

I watched a very little bit of the game -- well, had it on in the room ---and for most of the second quarter the guy getting the ball for Memphis had the great name of SUTTON SMITH.

Didn't pay attention to them at all this season and really only had the game on as background noise, but it seems like that had about four or five RBs that shared the ball.

Drucker looked bigger, played well. He shares time down there. We lost 2 known quantities in Drucker and Waylee. The others were fine, but we don't know. The JC back coming in is big and fast. Believe he will be very good.

I’ll drag the others too if they try and drag coaches name in the dirt like Ducker did.

Very true. He didn't stop his BS as he left here.

If Waylee goes on to run for only 600 yards at Wyoming next season you can be sure he will be getting clowned here too.

Probably, but it would be undeserved. Waylee had a lot of success for the Huskies, worked hard to come back from injury, even played injured at times this season, never gave anyone any crap that we heard about, and didn't talk trash on his way out the door. Ducker asked for it, but it's really time to stop beating that dead horse.

I would suggest the Drucker is more "less" known than realized.
