So far, I think only 2 of the games have been on a network not named ESPN. So, they are each on in their own time slot during the week, but they will put some up against each other using ABC on the weekends just for the extra programming. The Sun bowl was on CBS and some other bowl was on Fox (I think).

So yes, we were the only game on at the time. But so were the other two UofMemphis mentioned. What's your point?

Real possibility we lose Cam Jackson to Florida. It was reported prematurely a while back, but he is definitely considering it. He told me Tuesday that he wasn't sure yet and hadn't made a decision.

That would be a real blow for the defense. The kid played well this year. I guess they are trying to put together a NIL package in order to keep him.

The SEC schools will do this every year to any player we have that is really good.

Beet has said the kid has issues with authority figures... So I'm guessing he's not someone we want on the team moving forward.
People like that can disrupt team chemistry.
I hate that we lose his talents, but we have some people coming in who can replace his production, without all of the headaches.

I have to think, most of the players with elite talent that we have access, are going to come with some baggage.

Somehow, if we are going to be more than a .500 level AAC squad, we’re going to have to figure out a way to integrate some uber talented play makers with our stockpile of 3 star talent. CamRon may have been a disruption to the team, and I have zero way of knowing, but he was a heck of a disruption to an opponent’s’ offense & we have had trouble recruiting talent on both lines. I can’t fault the kid for getting paid & going to Florida, but I think it will be harder to replace him than we’re letting on. Our defense showed tremendous improvement this season & it started with the defensive line. I hope we can maintain.
