Chiefs need a reliable workhorse. He’s basically a better more durable McKinnon

The only way Dallas lets him go is someone breaks the bank and overpays him some crazy insane amount above market value.
KC doesn't run the ball enough anyway. Andy Reid has always been a bit too pass happy. I think its cost him a couple extra trips to the SB.

KC would be a good fit for Tony's skill set. They might not run as much as others, but we know Tony is a good pass-catching RB. Mckinnon is 4th on the Chiefs in receiving with 429 yards and 9.3ypr. Even with Dak missing time Tony is at 310 and 9.4ypr. But I would be surprised if Dallas lets him get away.

Pollard would instantly be the best receiver on the team. Would love him to be on the Chiefs!

The cowboys had a 3 game stretch of trap games and have been up and down in all 3 games. They looked really impressive when building a 27-10 lead last week, then totally blew it and let surging Trevor Lawrence light up their secondary. Lawrence is really on a tear the last 4-5 games.
Dallas has lost 2 of their top 3 cover corners and inexperienced Kelvin Joseph got lit up and burned for multiple TD's, including the 60 yard bomb that got the Jacksonville rally going. Injuries have actually hit Dallas pretty hard the last few weeks. They lost starting RT Terence Steele, LB Leighton Vander Esch, DT Johnathan Hankins and both those cover corners. Thats a lot of key losses on defense and Micah Parsons is a banged up as well.
I don't know if they can beat Philly or not Christmas eve, but they need to lean on Tony Pollard and Zeke big time.
They are going to need some explosive plays from Tony to have a chance. The Eagles are a clear SB favorite right now.
$1M per year seems very low for a dependable, productive NFL running back. Too many chances every game for a career-ending injury. I hope he gets a significant pay bump.
They'll put the Franchise Tag on TP next season .. nice payday.

Never gonna happen. They lack the cap space to even get in a bidding war, and the cowboys can just franchise him.
He's a better fit in Dallas anyway. Better O line, and he is much more central to the cowboys offense than he would be in KC. KC doesn't run it much and the backs are just a good utility in case Kelce and the WR's are blanketed too much. Even then Mahomes would rather scramble around and force it downfield to Kelce or a WR.
In Dallas Tony is much more the focal point of the offense.
Looks like KC has found their big play RB in Isiah Pacheco anyway.

Its interesting how both Dallas and KC struggled badly to squeak by the sorry Texans over the last 2 weeks. Both teams played way down to their competition.

Kellen Moore needs to go!! Throwing a 40 yard pass on 3rd down allowing Jax to keep their final timeout was one of the dumbest coaching decisions I’ve ever seen. Run the ball to the wide side with pollard, burn a few seconds, punt and make them drive it with no TOs.
Happy for Pollard though. Gonna enjoy him being on the Cowboys as long as he is

I live in Frisco, home of the Cowboys. Have not seen Tony around town yet but did run into Zeke at the local Kroger doing grocery shopping.

It was so cool watching the Cowboys and the Eagles yesterday as they featured two former Tiger standouts. Gainwell looks like he added 20 pounds of muscle and is a stud!

RE: Tony Pollard: NFL All-Pro
Looks like Pollard and the Cowboys will travel to Philly for a rematch in the divisional round. Its pretty much all but a lock as far as seeding. Dallas may well get Tampa in the wildcard and if they win get Philly in the divisional.
Its been 27 years since the Cowboys got out of the Divisional round, and its going to be a tall task again this year.
Then again Dallas may have the best chance in the entire NFC of knocking the Eagles out of the playoffs. As strong as the 49ers are up and down, I'm just not sure the have the offensive ability with a rookie QB, even if he has been playing "Purdy" darn good.

Pacheco is not a receiver, yet. McKinnon has scored 6 games in a row now; they love throwing to their RB. Pollard would be a perfect fit in KC and would have a few rings by the time his career is over.

Dallas OL has gone to sh-t since Badiaz got hurt. Hope he is back for the wild card game. Unfortunately, # 4 will be under center no matter who it is and that’s horrible news for Cowboy fans. He absolutely sucks, $40m to miss 5 games and still lead NFL in INTs.

The INT's this year are indefensible but the cowboys offense also went from near the bottom of the NFL to #1 in points and yards when Prescott returned.
As has been pointed out here countless times, far weaker QB's than Dak Prescott have won SB's. The cowboys issues are a lot more complicated than simply changing out the QB with a better one.
They turned it over twice on special teams deep in their own territory in the first quarter and could not run the ball to save their life Sunday. And they let a rookie QB on a terrible offense burn them on multiple occasions. That's a whole lot of bad everywhere.
It was a pathetic effort team wide after 2 solid wins to lock up a playoff spot. They should have won 14 or more games with ease, instead they limped to a 12-5 finish.

Anyways this is speculation and that’s what happens on a messageboard. Chiefs are a better fit for Pollard. Cowboys are not winning anything with Dak at the helm.

I don't know about never, but its is absolutely not going to happen in 2023. At worst Dallas will franchise him so you can forget about it right now.
Not only is he not going to be available, they don't have the cap room to sign him anyway so you can put this to bed for 2023 and 2024.
