Let him cry. I thought he did a great job of a graceful exit but if he’s going to turn around and take shots then he also needs to look in the mirror and realize he did nothing to keep his job by really anyone’s standard. His only real ground to stand on was the player supposedly wanted him or would leave and….. crickets so far. If he cant steal a few from us then the players never really felt the way it was implied in the letter/ social media.

I thought BV was better than that. Hmm.

Yeah, but I'm never going to be seeking employment inside the very close-knit-to-the-point-of-incest world of college athletics.

We don't know what happens behind closed doors, but my understanding is MI and BC/BV have major beef and have for a long time. Seems personal and not just professional beef among them. Someday I am sure the light will be shown on it

He got a new job. I'm glad for him. Coaches come and go. I appreciate what he did and my loyalty is to UAB.

He fail as HC very badly ,,,he has a very easy schedule and he got 7 wins

I just don't get the idea of this message after you failed to get the job. If you were never a candidate, if you pulled your name from consideration before the decision was made because of your negative thoughts on the AD, that's one thing, but this is so unprofessional. If they (BC/BV/their loyalists) know something that is worthy of the AD being fired, come out with it... if not it's just sour grapes IMO.

Good luck with a team that's on the cusp of firing their head coach, has only 3 FBS wins in 2 years, has only 5 conference wins in 6 years, and hasn't had a .500 or better season the last 6 years. Their best win since 2016 was a 14-3 victory against a 7-6 Wyoming team in 2021 that lost 8 MWC games and barely won their home opener against an FCS opponent. The cupboards are bare.

Clearly, that AD knows football and what they are doing lol.

What BV said was pretty tame IMO, but he's living in LALA land if he thinks he did anything at all to prove that he should've been retained as the head coach after this year.

That was my first thought too. You didn’t go to Boise or something comparable, you went to UNM.

Getting UNM above .500 next season will be a harder job than getting UAB to a C-USA Championship game was this year. Again, good luck.

it is a very strange comment but the comment MAY had came from a different situation where he was not referring to UAB AD
Vincent is now past history about UAB football and for now it was not great history
