I remember his last couple years. He had a reputation for going out of bounds rather than getting hit. At that time Jim Brown still had the all time record of total yards rushing. Brown was one of the meanest hardest hitting rushers. He was very upset that someone so soft (as Brown saw it) was possibly breaking his record. He threatened to suit back up if that happened.
