The two posts above explain this BULLS HIT.

Look at all the "conservative" Republicans who signed that bill that was rushed through at the end of a year.

Congrats to the Dems/liberals for pulling this massive boondoggle off in such style. Your guys absolutely OWN these weak @ss "conservatives".

America absolutely deserves whatever happens.

Everytime you hear an anti-Trump Republican voice---understand that THIS IS WHO THEY ARE and the TYPE OF ABSOLUTE CRAP those anti-Trump Republican voices actually represent.

I'll believe it when I see it. Maybe when it's so chaotic we can't order pizza delivery and Chinese takeout anymore. Maybe that'll be what finally pushes people over the edge. The modern "man" is weak. We're reaping exactly what we've sown.

You're including yourself in these assessments, correct?

It's a team effort so, 100% yes. I'm pretty much black-pilled on it all at this point. The country is too far gone. We've collectively let things get as bad as they are right now culturally and naively thought that voting would actually change things. When states are allowing minors to "change" genders and Dems pushing for abortion into the 3rd trimester, gay marriage is legal... I mean how much worse will we all tolerate? The overton window just keeps moving and none of the GOP cares apparently.

So, again, I ask "what are you (meaning as a collective) going to do about it"? Nothing is the answer. As long as we've got our creature comforts nothing is going to happen to physically take our country back. It would take massive organizational effort to take it back.

It's 100% been a collective failure, especially of men, over the past 60 something years. The "rugged individual" mentality Americans have is as much of a weakness as it is a strength. For the most part we only care about ourselves and our families. Beyond that we look at society in general as an "every man for himself" type of thing. And that's SCREWED us in the long run. Instead of stepping in and mentoring the fatherless child most men just criticize the "other's" mother, family, culture, absent father, etc. We've let it go to far to get it all back IMHO. It will literally take divine intervention to fix.

There is not one thing in this statement with which I can argue. Well done. And yes, our republic, if not already dead, is dying. We are screwed.

Omnibus Bill: Taxpayers to Erect Monument to Journalists in D.C., Give over $1B Subsidy to Media

Quote:Taxpayers will fund the erection of press statues in Washington, D.C., along with handing out media subsidies worth over $1 billion, if the Omnibus bill is passed into law in the coming days.

According to section 708 of the bill, the establishment media will be given a “commemorative” location in Washington, D.C., to honor “journalists”:

The location of a commemorative work to commemorate the commitment of the United States to a free press by honoring journalists who sacrificed their lives in service to that cause within Area I, as depicted on the map entitled ‘‘Commemorative Areas Washington, DC and Environs’’, numbered 869/86501 B, and dated June 24, 2003, is approved.

The statues will be located in “Area I,” according to the bill, which appears to encompass areas of the Mall in Washington, D.C., along with the White House, Tidal Basin, Theodore Roosevelt Island, and the Potomac shoreline in Virginia.

No budget or allocation of money was disclosed in the bill.

The omnibus bill also provides taxpayer money to the establishment media. In section 407, taxpayers will give over $500 million to the Corporation for Public Broad (CPB) and $600 million for infrastructure within the public media system:

For payment to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (‘‘CPB’’), as authorized by the Communications Act of 1934, an amount which shall be available within limitations specified by that Act, for the fiscal year 2025, $535,000,000:

In addition, for the costs associated with replacing and upgrading the public broadcasting interconnection system and other technologies and services that create infrastructure and efficiencies within the public media system, $60,000,000.

According to CPB’s website, the entity is “the steward of the federal government’s investment in public media and supports the operations of nearly 1,500 locally owned and operated public television and radio stations.”

Among the networks that are under the CPB’s umbrella are PBS and NPR. Both networks have board distribution. PBS distributes programming to about 350 stations throughout the nation. NPR has over 260 member stations in the nation that distributes to about 1,000 stations nationwide.

Critics claim the federal government should not finance the media because funding often comes with strings attached, leading to biased reporting.

For example, in 2021, NPR published false claims in a book review of Hunter Biden’s book that Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation. It has since issued a correction, referencing the now debunked Politico story on October 19, 2020, which used “dozens of former intel officials” to push a false and misleading narrative about the origins of Hunter’s laptop.

The discredited Politico story was published to discredit Breitbart News’ Emma-Jo Morris’ “Laptop from Hell” story she first broke in the New York Post just days prior. The discredited Politico headline still remains on the site.

“A previous version of this story said U.S. intelligence had discredited the laptop story. U.S. intelligence officials have not made a statement to that effect,” the correction reads.

The disclaimer was the best part. He's right. Our children are the ones that will suffer this BS. Most of us on this forum will be fine. We have made money, invested and been frugal with our capital. They will be the ones to have to pay this schit back and endure the consequences of this for decades to come.

Id like to see DeSantis and Paul on the next GOP ticket. We fervently need a voice in power to educate the unwashed on the perils of debt. Its pretty clear everyone now just thinks money grows on trees.07-coffee3

They all have completely lost their fcking minds. It's as if they are living in an another universe. Ive said it before and will continue to say it...IKE warned us. The idea that we give the pentagon ANY additional funding after they admit they have no idea where they are spending money is an abomination. Both gangs are equally guilty of pure and outright theft. We should storm Washington and make Jan. 6 look like a church social.03-banghead

McConnell Hopes Passing Democrats $1.7 Trillion Spending Bill Will Prevent Country from Discovering His Role in the Coup

Quote:Kash Patel joined Steve Bannon Tuesday morning to discuss the explosive revelations released Monday on the Deep State DOJ’s spying on Rep. Devin Nunes’s top attorneys during their investigation of the origins of the Trump-Russia hoax.

It was Kash Patel and Devin Nunes who eventually discovered that the intelligence community was in on the Russia collusion hoax and attempted a coup on President Donald Trump. Trump was eventually exonerated from the multiyear investigation when Bill Barr was sworn in as Attorney General.

On Tuesday morning Kash Patel joined Steve Bannon on The War Room to discuss the latest revelations on the intelligence community spying on him while he was investigating the Trump-Russia hoax.

Speaker Ryan knew the DOJ was spying on Deven Nunes’s staff and kept it hidden from his fellow Republican lawmaker. It really puts into perspective who Paul Ryan really is, a dishonest anti-Trump Republican and untrustworhy colleague.

Kash Patel: What did we just learn, five years later? That Google subpoenaed me, Devin Nunes’s chief legal investigator for my personal phone records, my personal emails, and my personal credit card and financial information when I was exposing Rod Rosenstein and Chris Wray for performing the Russiagate hoax. Not just me but another senior staffer as well. Devin Nunes’s two top lawyers amongst other people were subpoenaed by the Justice Department in 2017 because as Devin put it last night, they wanted to go after him and us because we were exposing their corruption.

Steve Bannon: Hold on, let me get this right… The Justice Department went and got, basically a warrant to get your emails, your banking records, all your financial records, your telephone records. We don’t know if there’s a wiretap or not. But all that to track you and another staffer. Here’s what I don’t understand. A guy named Donald Trump was president. That was his Attorney General. They have a regulation. The Speaker of the House was Paul Ryan… Here’s what happened. Did Paul Ryan notify the President of the United States or someone at the White House that they, the Justice Department had to notify Paul Ryan, correct?

Kash Patel: Yeah, me as a former federal prosecutor, if you’re going to go and surveil a member of the Gang of Eight, and his staff, meaning the person who gets the most sensitive intelligence, the AG has to notify Congress’s leadership, that’s Paul Ryan AND somebody at the White House. Here’s the thing with Paul Ryan. Here’s the guy who didn’t want us to send out subpoenas for Russiagate… Paul Ryan never told us he had a copy of the Steele dossier.

This is very damning for Paul Ryan. How can this man ever be trusted again?

Ryan has since landed on the board at FOX News – which explains why FOX News has ignored coverage of President Trump this year. They’re turning the page on Trump.

With this revelation, we can also now establish that the other members of the Gang of Eight at the time were also aware of this DOJ targeting of President Trump and Rep. Devin Nunes.

Mitch McConnell was the Senate GOP leader at the time and was also aware of this spying.

Mitch McConnell was also in on it.

And now Mitch McConnell is leading the charge to assist Democrats in passing their $1.7 trillion spending bill without a dime for new border security. Why would Mitch McConnell do this?

McConnell knows that the Republican majority in the House will hold the purse strings in two weeks.

If Mitch and the GOP controlled opposition can assist Democrats in passing this spending bill now it will weaken the House Republicans’ ability to hold thorough investigations and pressure the DOJ, FBI, and deep state players from cooperating. McConnell knows this. It also protects Mitch McConnell from divulging what he knew about the coup on Trump and the spying on Devin Nunes, among other things. The spending bill protects Mitch McConnell.

Or maybe Mitch is supporting the Democrat bill because he’s compromised and hates his voters? Maybe that’s it.

Good post by b2b and nice summary by TB4E.

The key points are bolded, though I'm sure quite a few will shrug it off.

I believe many people are coming to the this conclusion about the current state of things in this country. It is out of control and beyond repair.

Again, the worst is yet to come. I truly believe it will take at least a generation of enduring truly hard times before the USA dissolves around 2050. Then a reformation occurs which I refer to as the NAU. Obviously it could be called something else. But the premise is the former USA splits into about 7 or 8 regions that become provinces or other countries inside this North America land mass.
