Do we need to make sure Gang Green (or whatever is the equivalent now) contacts Memphis student group? If I remember, wasn’t this spearheaded by them?

No I think both school admins are quite aware of the Bones.

It’s going to be hard to do the BBQ Cook-off at Protective Stadium since they don’t allow tailgating. Maybe they could allow Green Parking only for the BBQ Teams that week.

Who doesn’t allow tailgating?

I would think they will set up the contest in the new green area

It damn sure is if we allow to keep them the next time we play. We need to take them back where they belong

You realize we do a BlazerTalk Tailgate at Protective Stadium right?

With all the tailgating rules BJCC makes us follow, we'll have to have one of the local restaurants oven bake them for us. They could have it in the parking area between 23rd & 24th under the interstate but that requires someone to actively think, plan & get lots of people on board early. I'd love to do it myself but just don't see anyone at uab putting forth the effort to make it happen the way it should & was done at LF.

Protective tailgating is a 4 hour window though isn't it? Going to be tough to get a good rack done in that short of time.

They changed it back to a 6 hour window.

Outside of the Top of Parking Deck Tailgating and Green Parking Tailgating, they don't allow it (except for the new section in CityWalk that requires you to purchase everything from them that no one uses).

At least we'll get an opportunity to face them again perennially. I can still smell Ehsan's blown 20 point lead in Bartow Arena.
