Miss. St vs ODU
Mississippi State beat ODU today 83-47. Miss. State is projected to finish 8th in the SEC. ODU is expected to be in the top of the Sun Belt. The game, I think, shows the gap between the Power 5 conferences and the others, like ODU. The Monarchs likely will have a decent record, but the reality is that they’re very far from being a good team on the national level.

The gap has been big for a long time. At least in mens college basketball there's always a chance any given game but you just don't see that very often in women's.

I don’t think there as much D-1 talent in women’s HS ball to bleed over to non power schools.

South Dakota State beat Mississippi State this year. Our fans are too quick to accept that this is just ODU's place in the world.

RE: Miss. St vs ODU
I don't follow womens that much but Miss State seems like a pretty good team. They are blowing teams out by 30 points. They have a loss on the road to SD State and a loss in OT to Nebraska.

I don't really like Net, but net has the at 43.

And it has us at 110
