The ACC will replace 4 very good brands with a bunch of leftover scraps that nobody else wanted, and their remaining 10 will be afterthoughts too...it's going to be a tough row to hoe for them to prevent further defections to the big 12.
Note to the reader: The last reference is to the same Big 12 still catching its breath after replacing 6 'very good brands' with 'a bunch of leftover scraps that nobody else wanted.'
Yes, this needs to be stickied after posts like this. Only the Big XII is allowed to be the little engine that could.
I like that 'further defections to the Big 12'... as if there have been any.
Yeah, remember when Texas A&M and Texas and Missouri and Oklahoma and Colorado and Nebraska all left the ACC to join the Big 12? Yeah, I don't, either.

Not if they are only getting 22M a year, when they could go to the BIG12 and get 31M per year. This Amazon deal better be for real and not a negotiation strategy. As the 4 corner schools will jump to the BIG12, OU/UW will head to the BIG and Stanford will go indy and Cal (maybe Cal and SDSU head to BIG 12 also?), Or St and Wa St will be heading to the Mountain West.

rofl
And now you have me imagining those schools as part of the ACC.
And in all seriousness, I'm not sure they'd leave for the B12. lol
That would be quite the conference.

I think Cal is more likely to "go indy" than Stanford. The could join the BigWest and "go indy" in football.
