WBB Game 10: Penn State
The Nittany Lions come to the DAC Sunday. They Lady Lions are sitting at 8-3 on the season and are 54 in the NET. They started off the season 7-0 including a win over Syracuse (82 NET) before some more recent falls. That being said, their losses are to good teams including their 0-2 start in the Big Ten: Virginia (28 NET), Minnesota (107 NET) and Indiana (4 NET). Their most recent win was over a top 100 WVU team (99 NET). Makenna Marisa is their leading player at 17 points per game on 44% shooting (42% from 3) including 5 rebounds a game and 4 assists per game. Shes a 5'11 guard. Her scoring is actually down from last season. Her and Keishana should be able to put on a show. PSU is very balanced in that they play 9 women more than 15 minutes a game. So there is quite a bit of depth for penn state

All that being said, we are in a lot of trouble in this one. For perspective we are sitting at 125 in NET. Our losses are La Salle (165 NET), St Joes (85 NET) and Yale (169 NET). Our best win is Lehigh (211 NET). With Kylie we may be able to stay close for a quarter or 2, but if its just Kei again, it is likely to be a long game. We just dont have enough ways to score right now to keep up with this team and their depth will wear us down. Oh and we will have a massive height disadvantage to boot. They have 9 gals on their roster over 6' and 3 more that are just under 6'

Penn State- 84
Drexel- 52

This was a signature win for the program today. Keishana continues to do so much on her own, but it paid off. She would have broken the school record for points in a game in regulation, but I guess it doesn't count since the game went to OT. 42 for Washington today, which increases her lead as the nation's leading scorer.

Absolutely. Can't say I saw this one coming, especially without Kylie. Got up big early and skirted by, but managed to close it out. If we hadnt slipped up earlier against teams we should beat, this could have been one of those wins that put us in the at large consideration. Hopefully as a team we can use this and build off of it and dominate the CAA.
