I made it clear I would only use 247s'" composite ratings" because they are based on the ratings of the major recruiting sites and nothing else.
I also made it clear I ONLY discuss recruiting, nothing else, and only using 247's ratings when doing so.
As far as discussing how SBC teams compare, I made it clear I would only use 247s' Team Talent Composite, because it takes into account the players on their roster in September, regardless of when or how they got there.
Again I PROMISED TO USE NOTHING ELSE.
Here are all the roster ratings since 247 started providing the Team Talent Composite, that I promised to used:

While I will refer to how a class ranks from time to time , with multiple signing periods, it has become a less useful tool for comparing talent than the Team Talent Composite - which is compiled in September.
For some reason this confuses posters on every message board, and I cannot understand why. I could say247 had Troy as the highest rated SBC roster in 2022, but their might be a reader smart enough to click on their ratings, and see them at #7, call me out.
Tough call if you want to get along on a message board , but I decided it is better to be called stupid, than actually be stupid.
