This is fair. They have always had difficulty with timing and synchronization.

It really does not help when you have intro videos that are mixed to songs no one in the crowd knows. Its hard to get hyped up for a game right before they come out of the tunnel. ODUs in game entertainment could really use a overhaul.

Much of the problem with our intro continues to be the fact that, except for a few one off examples, we have late arriving crowds.

You don't need to know a song for it to be a good into song, it just needs to fit well and build hype. I will agree a lot of the hype videos have been really hit and miss tho

Any word on how relocation of seats is going? Thought that was taking place in May? I never got a call, while not a big donor, they said I’d probably hear something by the end of May. Any insight?

I got a call on Friday about moving my seats. So apparently things are moving.

I’m definitely a low roller. So they’re probably near the end. But they did actually call me and moved me very close to where I wanted. Which was good for me, but not sure what it means for ticket sales.

Also, they’ll only call you if you indicated you wanted a change. Otherwise you just keep your old seats.

They called me Friday but I didn't get back to them until yesterday and didn't get anywhere near where I wanted but got something acceptable.

I got in touch today. Made a move I’m pretty happy with. Thanks for the help!

It's useless to me since I keep up with all those news bits anyway, as do many of the posters here.
It's really only beneficial to those fans that are less connected. So it begs the question, how did they generate the mailing list? The mailing list most likely includes all ticket purchasers (both single game and season). I have received emails from Wake, JMU, UVA, etc., after attending ODU road games because they got my email when I purchased tickets.

It's better than not doing anything, but it would be great to reach all graduates too. This gets into one of my pet peeves; the school email address. Most (maybe all?) students get a school email address (.edu) while attending but, I think, it is only good for a short period after graduation. I'm sure most of you have had to change either your email address, phone number, physical address, etc. at some point in your life. It's a huge pain to ensure all your contacts know the new contact information and surely some don't get it, or lose it, and the connection ends. As my kids approached graduation, I have stressed for them to use their future email address (gmail.com) on certain things so that they will not lose the connection when their .edu account is closed. I know the Alumni Association makes efforts to update the info but the success rate is limited.

Looks like a company that generates these for different universities. I started getting the Hoos Brew recently (before unsubscribing) and purchased tickets directly through UVA last year.
