The line for this game opened at ASU -2 with a total of 136. It now sits at ASU -3 total 134 1/2 at most shops.

This is a game SEMO should win, IF they are healthy. They should have the 3 players back that missed the last game but for how many minutes is anyone's guess. ASU has 5 wins on the year but 3 of those are against non DI teams. The other two were against #362 Mississippi Valley St. and UT-Martin. If we don't win this one I think we'll be looking at a 5-8 record going into conference play at a very hot S. Indiana. We've lost 4 in a row. We need to stop the bleeding or this could start to get ugly very fast.

Agreed semosupporter. This should be a win for SEMO if they are healthier than the IUPFW. Will be interesting to see how well they bounce back from the disappointing performance last week. Question....I thought the NCAA had already ruled David Idada was ineligible for this year? In today's Missourian the Tom Davis article says there has been no decision. Does anyone know what is the actual truth here? In regards to SUI, i watched their game versus Indiana State and was impressed. Beat a 9-1 MVC team with some sharp 3 point shooting and an inside game as well.

Korn said that the ncaa had ruled on Idada but we could be trying to get that reversed. Just guessing. ISU is a different team at home than on the road. They play at a IUPFW tourney this week. I look for IUPFW to handle them fairly easily (7-8 pt. win).

RE: ARKANSAS ST.
That has to be one of the most embarrassing losses I've ever seen from a SEMO team. How many times did we just throw the ball away when we were under no pressure. SOMEONE, ANYONE, please teach Nate Johnson to make a shot from 2' away. He's 24-45 53.3% from the field. Almost all right under the basket. Last year he was 24-35 68.6% from the field. What happened between then and now? Early isn't any better 24-48 50.0% (that did surprise me). How can you beat anyone getting that lack of production from your post players? Why not give some time to Hanback? He can't do any worse. As a matter of fact he's played a total of 11 minutes in 2 games and is 2-2.

Our defense, or lack of defense, has reverted back to how we've been in the past. I have lost all faith in this team. I'm done ranting now.

As of this post we have had 134 views of this thread but only one others member has bothered to make a comment. If this was a forum for any MVC school, except Belmont, after the performance or lack there of our team put on at Arkansas St. there would be at least 4-5 pages of comments from their forum members.

If this forum is going to succeed it's members are going to have to be more active and join in the conversations and let their views be known. I know for a fact there are several very knowledgeable members but they almost never post comments. JOIN IN!

RE: ARKANSAS ST.
A big problem with our string of injuries and illnesses is that we have alot of guys that get into foul trouble as well. We really need our best 9 players to be healthy so when we get 2 or 3 guys in early foul trouble our production doesn't drop off so terribly when we go to the bench. We really missed Barnes this last game.
