The Time is Now
If we want to get the ball rolling before conference, we got to play better these next 4 games.

V. Philander Smith
@ Jacksonville St.
V. UCA
@ Arkansas St.

If we go 3-1 with a road loss, that would be a good way to have some momentum before hitting conference play. 4-0 is unlikely and I would be shocked.

However, if we somehow lose to Philander Smith, Walker ought to be fired tomorrow.

Agree with all you say. I would be thrilled if we go 3-1 with wins against UCA and ASU. Doubt we win at Jacksonville State, but they are clearly on our level. 2-2 seems most likely, although beating UCA is far from a given. I do consider Philander a given, but we did struggle with them last time. Considering our W-L record, we should take no one lightly and need to come out and pound Philander by, at least, 20 points.

RE: The Time is Now
Step one accomplished. We blew out an NAIA team, which any decent DI team should do. Step 2, beating a comparable mid-major (Jacksonville State), on the road, will be much more difficult. I want to see solid evidence of "growth" in this team, but that may have to wait until we play UCA at home.
