When I inquired the realtor before moving about installing an home alarm, she looked at me with puzzlement like I asked to build a moat. Many of my neighbors do not lock their vehicles. Primary school kids routinely walk unescorted home after school bus drop-off.

It is a different world, but it is not an accident.

that's stupid as crime can happen anywhere/anytime. there's picking an area because it's safe and then there's asking for something to happen.

It either doesn't happen out here in Atoka or they keep it quiet. But you aint wrong, crime can happen anywhere. Especially in areas with Soro's appointed prosecutors who side with the criminal element more often that not.

He may not be coaching for a very long time. I sure as hell would not let my kid play for someone like him...

We all say that but Chris Jans was recorded groping women in a bar and now he has an SEC job.

Video shows Bowling Green's Chris Jans slapping woman's buttocks

.

Are you kidding??? That wasn't a slap. That a timid little pat. You can't do that.

Doesn't that happen many, many times in domestic violence? The woman - once distance is created - tries to recount her story, based on the belief of his promise that he will never do that again.

Exactly. She can’t live with him and can’t live without him. Or Vice versa , I’ve seen husband beaters too

I'm glad you make this point. It's easy to blame the man in this situation, but who really knows? Is she an honest, credible person or a violent hothead with a hair trigger? Is he a violent, abusive man? Very few people know what really happened, and it's a bit crazy to jump on a bandwagon when it could go either way.

Hopefully time will tell what the facts truly are. It would be a shame to demonize and destroy a man if he is indeed innocent. That doesn't mean I'm saying that he is. None of us know.

That can certainly be the case sometimes.
But in this case - she called the cops.
She had the scrapes, bruises, bite marks, and strangulation marks.
She may have indeed started it, but it's pretty obvious who dealt out the violence.

If you look at his mugshot, he definitely has redness around his neck. He may also have more injuries that weren't being reported. Not saying he's not guilty, but who knows what really happened? People can be unstable and dishonest, and without personally knowing the situation of the parties involved, it's difficult to say. The one element that makes me take pause are the reported bite marks.

He looks red and flush from drinking... Personally, I do not see anything that looks scratch marks or attack marks. But that is purely based on the pic above.

RE: Chris Beard in Prison with a Laptop?
I will also say, I was in a relationship (15ish years ago) where the woman lost it on two different occasions and physically came after me. I managed, on both occasions, to defend myself without any problem and certainly you would not find any bite marks, strangulation marks, bruises or any other abusive marks. Possibly some redness around her wrists where I grabbed her to stop her from swinging but I sure as heck was not biting and choking her in "self defense".

You're not seeing any redness around his neck? Maybe its razor irritation, but it is hard to tell from that pic. Again, not saying he's innocent and the alleged bite marks don't look good for him.

RE: Chris Beard in Prison with a Laptop?
So it ended up being self defense. Seems probable, as Texas doesn’t typically choke until March.

In such poor taste, but admittedly funny.
