I had forgotten all about him being added to the coaching staff. It appears he's already had an impact. I don't know if these three things relate to him or not but we are not turning the ball over nearly as much this year, our free throw shooting has improved greatly and Penny's sub patterns don't seem quite as irrational.

Awesome win, but we had 19 turnovers and 14 assists. That's not a recipe for continued success.

Several of our TOs were offensive fouls (5-6 I think) & when you remove those, it's not so bad against an aggressive D like Auburn plays (maybe the most aggressive D we'll see all season). But yeah, still too many.

IMO, a very underrated reason for our good play is Lawson bulking up somewhat and being able to guard the 4, and present matchup problems to an extent. Without him being able to do that, we would not be as good defensively with Malcolm and Williams on the bench. Kao has been pretty solid too, but he is a traditional big.

But those turnovers were against the elite defense of a ranked team. The vast majority of our competition’s defense will not be so aggressive.

Lots of room to improve, which should terrify opponents/opposing coaches. Especially with our coaching staff....From what I understand, we expect 2-3 more players added to this roster....A tough match with Bama, throttle T A&M @ home, our roster can begin to gel and build chemistry that will prepare Memphis for an extremely exciting post-season COGS
