In regards to being a germaphobe, I always thought that everyday germs are good for your immune system because it strengthens it. I never carry a hand sanitizer or anything like that and I dont mind touching handles. The only thing I wont touch is my face, and thats something I learned from the Marines.
Is that a standard part of basic training?
Yep!

So I did the Moderna.. It was a two shot thing...
I haven't done any boosters.. But I also to my knowledge never caught COVID. When I never got COVID and after I started seeing all the stuff come out I decided nope I'm good.
I will say from time to time, where I got my injection, my arm spasms.. I don't know if that's normal or not.. Maybe it's my body rejecting the shot.
I was sick as a dog after the first jab, but had no immediate side effects after the 2nd (opposite of most). I had massive random body aches for a full year after. Ironically, it stopped happening after I got Covid itself. Recommend next time you know someone with the virus going and hanging out with them so you get it. It might end the vax complications.
herd immunity vs. the 'future unknown' was my only option by choice ... I'm lucky enough to not live in an enviro of 'forced equity'...
