ULL and Marshall with a big game coming up tonight at 8.

ULL is a one point favorite. Should be a very fun game between two of the top teams in the SBC. Marshall is just one loss away from being even with us.

Technically, if Marshall loses tonight’s game, JMU would be in 3rd and Marshall 4th place because JMU currently holds the tie-breaker over Marshall. 3rd and 4th place could come down to the return Marshall game at JMU at the end of the regular season.

Yeah I'm kinda torn on what result I want here. We could be tied for third, or could be one game behind two teams that are tied for second. We get our own shot at those two teams at home this week, I think I'm leaning towards wanting a Marshall win. Top four is looking pretty damn good at the moment, getting the 4 instead of 3 wouldn't be so bad but the better odds off jumping all the way to 2 would be pretty big.

Ragin Cajuns taking it to the Herd at the half. Jordan Brown has 17 points at the half on an assortment of post moves and putbacks. He is the kind of player that will be a problem for the Dukes small interior guys on both ends of the court.

Sun Belt refs don’t call many fouls and the physicality of Louisiana is hurting Marshall big time. Full contact basketball is the norm.

That is probably likely with several of these guys, however, I would not want to try to fill more than half my roster with transfers. I know it's becoming more common but that seems like a high risk situation. Good luck to them, I think Sun Belt basketball benefits when Georgia State is on their game.

Had CoC gone 30 - 4 by losing in the championship game, it would have been interesting to see if the NCAA left them out. They played one DII team all others were DI
