Looking at the 247 and Rivals Portal updates the last few days it did seem the better P5's are taking the biggest hits right now, especially the programs that maybe did not have the seasons their fans think they should have had, or had a coaching change.
So many young players in these programs are jumping in too.
Have to wonder if some got up front "NIL" money, and are looking for the same from their second school, or maybe 4-star and high end 3-star types are just impatient.
You also have to think going to unlimited transfers would create total chaos at the top schools.
Have been checking on a few G5 programs I follow and other than Memphis, noticed most are not going after them, at this point. Most are offering mostly HS and JC's players , and proven players from other G5's and FCS in the Portal.
That might change after the early signing period when many of these players are still in the Portal, knowing that more players will enter in the second window.
