Its so Biblically ignorant that its astounding anyone could ever buy into it. The Edomites were judged and destroyed by God long ago in the Bible, there are no Edomites today.

Furthermore the Bible is clear there would never be a "fake" Jewish nation living in the Holy land posing as Israelites. Its says they would come from nations all across the earth and the nation would be reborn in the land and begin to prosper in record time, even though they would be surrounded on all sides by enemies calling for their total destruction. Scripture even tells us they would return to the land STILL rejecting Christ, still in sin and separated from God. That God would regather then FIRST and then after this through the end times events He would turn them to Christ and bring them under the New Covenant. This is actually the culmination of the end of the church age and the 2nd coming of Jesus in scripture.

And here we sit 2500 years after those prophecies were written and every aspect of it has come true expect the very end, which is the tribulation, the salvation if Israel and the 2nd coming. They were dispersed by Rome from the land in 70 and 130 AD and the nation was reborn following the holocaust and WW2 in 1948 AD. In just one generation they have become one of the most prosperous nations on the planet. All that's left is the final tribulation events and their struggles with the antichrist which will lead them finally to Jesus.

Even from a secular POV this is entire topic is very stupid. There are some similarities between Gaelic and Phoenician languages; however, just because languages have similar vowel cadences and even same exact words albeit different meanings, doesn't mean that those two languages come from the same language family. I'm not sure how exactly any theory regarding Judean = Irish and Scots came about TBH, but there's zero archeological or genetic evidence to support such a thought.
