Not really, Jeff came home for essentially what he was making at Purdue. He was making 5.1 million in West Lafayette. He’ll make 5.8 million per year at home. I wouldn’t equate a 700K raise to backing “up the Brinks truck”
Bobby Petrino was the third highest compensated coach in The ACC, behind only Dabo and Jimbo, when Louisville fired him.
Money has never been a problem for UofL.
We paid Rick Pitino 5.1 million to coach basketball here a decade ago.
We’re getting together tonight at the Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club tonight to welcome Jeff home. Whatever Jeff needs they can pass the hat there and get it for him.
Money for strippers?
Naw, We don’t hang out in Newport like Cincinnati Coaches do
Happily, Cincinnati coaches couldn’t find Newport, KY on a map. Absolutely no reason to go over there. If you do, you would only find a handful of toothless women wearing UK sweatshirts and flip flops.
I'd be a bit concerned about that considering your airport is in NoKY.

The auto-extensions have destroyed our program. Hopefully you guys have a better experience with it than us.

They’re generally a great fan base. Passionate about their Bearcats. Unfortunately, like everyone else, they’ve got their knucklehead fans. I wish them nothing but the best.
After the Fenway Bowl of course.
Of course
Probably the best first weekend bowl game ever.
I'll be rooting for UL.

It’s going to be interesting. One would expect Coach Shat to share his Louisville playbook with his new employer, new team and friends at Cincinnati.
Presently UofL has 11 quality control “coaches” filling out the staff for the bowl game.
I’m not sure if it will be the best bowl game of the opening weekend of bowl season but it will certainly be the strangest.

Yeah, I was kinda hoping Purdue would tell Brohm they don't want him to coach them any more so he could come over and help out with the Fenway Bowl, but I guess the Boilermakers just have no self-respect?

I haven’t heard much buzz. UofL is probably on the friends and family plan for this one. A December bowl game played in a baseball stadium in Massachusetts won’t have much allure to many Louisville fans.
The idea of Louisville playing Cincinnati might add some intrigue but I doubt it overcomes the timing of the contest and the location

God Bless UC Football!
Cincinnati football is fine, Satterfield has been tearing it up on the recruiting trail. UC football is just amazed and amused that your biggest party in decades is over a coach who is 36-34 in the ACC and has an overall worse record than Satterfield.

lol Even if Brohm don't work out. You're not going to be happy with Satterfield.

The party is getting someone to pay us $3.5 million for Satt.
Don't worry. In a couple of years you're gonna remember this thread and say "Ooooohhhh ... THAT'S why they were so happy."
