Not sure if I agree with that. Lester was a good shooter and defender. I thought he did well here. I do think Penny underutilized a few players. Tyler, Minot, and Kao and a few others come to mind. But I thought Penny used Lester correctly

I notice he's wearing his shorts long professionally. I think that is the difference in his scoring numbers. His shorts were obviously holding him back when he was here.

Penny unfortunately is learning on the job and will eventually figure out how to maximize his players and their talent.

Not doing the guitar thing anymore either. His development has been more than just physical, he appears to have done quite a bit of maturing over the past year as well.

I saw Lester on the Warriors bench tonight...and jumping off the bench to cheer. He was the happiest I've ever seen. Very glad for him.

Lester is fortunate that a good team took him under its 'wings'. Warriors care enough about LQ to give him a two week contract, but he was not dressed out to play.

Lofton received the honor from a voting panel consisting of G League head coaches and general managers. Former Memphis Tigers and current Santa Cruz Warriors guard Lester Quinones finished second in the voting.

Awesome for both of them!

I think it will fly. I just think he realizes he hasn't earned the respect to do it yet.
