Now the question is...do you care enough about the players to show you care about them? I am going and some friends who are alums have already called me to see if we can hook up when they go to the game. One of those friends is from Arkansas and the other from Georgia. So, the crowd of Memphis fans just might surprise the naysayers. Dallas is a great road trip and the weather in late December is hard to predict but sometimes, it is Bermuda shorts type weather.

The game is on national TV so...the other question is....how do you want us to look on TV? A small Memphis crowd is not going to impress anyone, including the Big 12.

We also recruit football and basketball players from Texas. So a good showing helps both sports. In fact, if we ever want to have a decent softball program, Texas is one of the three best states in the country for high school softball prospects.

stop, its on national TV on a Tuesday at 3 EST. The only one watching will be the fans of the schools and gamblers.

I would not expect many fans from either school to travel to Dallas to see two 6-6 teams play on a Tuesday afternoon. If someone wants to go - then go and have a hell of a time but this game is not appointment viewing by any stretch and not going does not make you any less of a fan.

Although the turnout of The Cotton Bowl was nice, I wish there had have been more in attendance....It's possible that person's were still 03-pissed of the government telling everyone to be afraid of a Big Bad Wolf
