the ineptitude was painfully obvious watching their last three games.
JMU 47 - CCU 7
Troy 45 - CCU 26
ECU 53 - CCU 29
Would've been a better in terms of entertainment-value if SBC had sent JMU or App State to face ECU.
The Cincinnati game broke ECU. Regardless of what was going on in Conway during that time, I expected a much closer game.
We went on a tear where we beat Memphis, UCF, & BYU in consecutive weeks. Went to Cincinnati, chomping at the bit, only to lose 27-25 on the final possession.
We came out FLAT the following week and got blown out by Houston at home 42-3. Coach said we let Cincinnati beat us twice.
The next week we went up to Philly and BARELY survived 49-46 against an awful Temple team.
We were very nervous going into the bowl game, as we'd really sucked the previous 2 games. No major shakeups in the coaching ranks, but we did lose a few key starters to the portal and opt-outs.

It's not about what ECU has or hasn't done, it's more about the complete chaos within the Coastal program. My point is CCU fans are having a rough time already, no need to rub it in. They know they're heading for complete overhaul for next few years.

I think you misspelled Southern Miss
It's a little far for some sports, but I'd love to revive the football series!

There's turmoil for a lot of bowl teams. I doubt it's possible, but I wish they'd ban coaches currently under contracts from accepting new jobs prior to January.

Happy to see that for ECU and would love to see us meet in the near future.

It had always shocked me when all these crappy teams in CUSA that went 2-10 every season joined the AAC then suddenly were top 25 teams, but ECU goes to the AAC and does terrible. ECU was the team that felt like it deserved to be doing well. Good luck in the future.

That's a solution to a problem you don't need to have.
