I lost respect for Rice baseball after the 2nd game against them in the 2019 CUSA tournament when Rice pitcher Parthasarthy threw at our batter Franklin's head not once but twice in the game. Rice tried saying Parthasarthy had control issues all game but why was it that the only USM player he had "control issues" that day was against our player who on day 1 of the tournament collided with the Rice 1st baseman who ended up with a broken arm on the play. Glad we were able to take 8 of the final 9 games against them including a 3 game sweep at home last year with Sunday's game being a 12-2 walk off run rule win.

Rice has given up on baseball as well.
