Outside of the rebounding problem I thought it was their best game of the year. They were aggressive and effective on the offensive end of the floor. 61% FG%, 63% 3 Pt %, 76% FT %. Won't have better shooting percentages throughout the season! Wiard and Lockett took and made good shots and except for a short period with the second team at the end, they were efficient with ball control. And man to man defense was good. Most of the MSU scoring came from the offensive rebound. It was also outstanding to have the second level players scoring well. They looked to me like a scary team except for the rebounding.

RE: WBB vs Missouri St Game Thread
BTW, does anyone know who specifically were the ladies honored at half-time, said to be basketball players from the "early 70s"? First official season of UT WBB was 1974-75 (which I would refer to as the mid-70s, but maybe that's just me) although I have found references to games in 73-74 in other schools media guides.
Maybe it's just me, but I wonder why UT does this, reasonably often, posting photos of alumni and not identifying who they are. Are they in witness protection or something?
