This is a correct statement. This should have been put on a higher platform.

Very encouraging to see him return. Not gonna put the cart before the horse though. Lots can still happen.

Your right. After watching players go down during ooc early on, not having an FCS home game next year is scary. It’s worth getting Texas State back imo but ugh.

I looked at Troy’s ooc for next year. Like looking in the mirror lmao. Hope y’all like watching army dude’s do push-ups. I don’t remember if they do that on the road. That Kansas State game will be awesome.

The schedule is favorable. Kansas State loses a lot of key players.

If Troy and UTSA can keep the portal and coaching losses to a minimum, I'd say they'll be two favorites for the NY6 next year. Troy returns a lot of players at the moment.

Reports are coming out that Traylor turned down 3 P5 offers.

I'm looking forward to watching this game Friday. Troy fans how are you guys feeling about this one? Any key players out?

I don't know how to feel. UTSA is the best team we've played all year besides Ole Miss and South Alabama. Troy hasn't played an offense as dynamic as theirs. Likewise, UTSA hasn't played a defense nearly as good as Troy's.

I think Troy has less room for error though. If the offense doesn't come out clicking and leaves the defense on the field, I think UTSA will have chances to get ahead early. The Troy offense cannot go through a lull like they have most of the season, and expect to keep up.

If there are any new key players out, then it's something fans have been unaware of. We've had a 3 key players out for most of the season (WR Jabre Barber, DL Luis Medina, LB Jayden McDonald). I don't believe any of them will be able to play the bowl.

As far as I know, the guys that have played most of the season are good to go.

I wouldn't say I feel good about it, but I also don't feel bad about it. The teams seem so evenly matched that I feel it's going to come down to coaching and who wants it more. I know our team is hungry for the win so motivation of the team isn't something I'm concerned with. I really think that hail mary loss to App State pissed our team off and motivated them through the season to get to where they are now.

Best offense Troy has faced all year. Best defense UTSA has faced all year. Don't have much of a read on this game outside of that. Lots of things could happen in this game, including blowouts.

I’m taking Troy by 10. Troy is hitting its stride when it was already a good season. They’ve outscored the past 3 opponents 127-61, including a 19 point win against a decent Coastal team. UTSA is good, but let not act like going undefeated in C-USA is some huge feat. Troy will be the best team UTSA has faced since Sept 17. Troy has wins against Coastal, South Alabama, Marshall, and should have beat App before we started sucking.

Honestly I could see us winning or losing. UTSA is legit and one of the best teams we have played all year. I won't pick against Troy but if we lose I wouldn't be shocked either.

A little over 24 hours to kickoff! Reminder that this game is at 2pm CST, Friday. Most of you will probably be working though.

Don’t sleep on UTSA.

I hope you’re right, and Troy shows up big and plays its best FB of the year, and wins in impressive fashion. UTSA is for real, however, regardless of how we think CUSA is crap.

The Roadrunners should have defeated Texas in Austin, and should UTSA bring their “A” game defeating them will be a very impressive victory. At best I think this matchup is a toss-up, with UTSA being a slight favorite.

Go Troy! Rep the SBC!

UTSA is basically AAC at this point. But ya we def have to bring our A game here… winner of this game has a shot at being ranked to open next year and be serious NY6 contenders.

The parking lot was empty. I had to call security to open the building. I'm so out of here once my boss sees me.
