RE: GCU losses lawsuit against Dept of Education—cannot claim non-profit status
I posted it because a long running legal issue regarding a conference member was decided in court, and the result was just announced. Yes, the topic has long been discussed on the boards, but the ruling was new, newsworthy, and relevant.
I didn’t bring it up out of the clear blue sky to stir the pot.

Here is another example just from the last couple of days.
I'm surprised that GCU didn't follow Liberty's method of madness. Yes Liberty doesn't have an associated stock but they have over 100k students (mainly online vets). Yeah it would mostly be the same GCU but they can transition to the not for profit motif.
In the meantime does LOPE pay dividends? Asking for a friend.
