RE: Will McCall follow Chadwell?
Rumor is that something was up with his grades/credits. Auburn canceled his visit because of academic issues.

I wouldn't have thought grades to be an impediment for any SEC schools' football program (except Vandy).

And the ex ODU player tweet on here a few weeks back warning guys to do their diligence before entering portal. I think both his and the Duke guys situation came down to credits, not necessarily grades. My guess is it's the same with McCall.

Yes. Credits and degree programs are not interchangeable. Trying to transfer as a graduate student would make both of those “complications” a deal breaker.

Isn't there also a requirement for graduate transfers to go into a program not offered by their current institution? That would seem to potentially make it more complicated, particularly if some of those unique programs have specific prerequisites.

Yes, that’s supposed to be part of the grad transfer rules.

With the Transfer Portal is this a requirement anymore?

Grad Transfers are also exempt from the Portal sport specific windows.
