Yeah, but Akron was 123.

Stacking up as the “futility bowl!” God that’ll prolly be ugly

Yeah, sucks when we're looking forward to "woohoo, we're above that community college down the road" or "at least we're not last".07-coffee3

Eh, it wasn't long ago that we were both really bad and worse than them. At least we're fiscally responsible with how we run our team. Imagine being really bad and also overspending on football... Well you don't have to imagine. Just look down the road.

Reminds me of years ago when you'd ask an old man how he was doing and he'd reply, "I'm better than Custer, young man."

RE: Football Offseason
The coaching staff is out pounding the pavement and shaking hands today and tomorrow as part of their Flashes Fock Ohio campaign...yeah, "Flock"...anyway, I think this is a great idea to get out into as many schools as you can and speak to as many involved in the recruiting process as possible. Keeping the ties you already have while building new ties certainly wouldn't hurt now that we have a new HC and staff.

RE: Football Offseason
Such a strange offseason. I feel like I have no idea what to expect. I guess that's better than last season by expecting a MAC Championship, but getting nothing. I'm still a little raw about that.

RE: Football Offseason
On the barely bright side of things the OOC opponents are going to have a really hard time game planning for this team. Should be very little footage for any potential starters. Add on new HC, OC and DC so the play calling will potentially be completely different and the aggressiveness will be hard to account for.

If we can block, we should be able to run. HC with a specialty on RBs. Bradford, Garcia, Thomas, and (maybe?) Williams. Losing Cooper hurts but that backfield still looks pretty damn good on paper. Have a couple WRs that seem capable. Need to figure out QB and probably improve WR but I think we'll be a strong running team. When Haynes left the cupboard was more bare in my opinion.

He left Crum.

RE: Football Offseason
Nice to see these “Flash for Life” sessions Coach is putting on for the guys helping develop them into men off the field. He’s been bringing outsiders in to help with living skills whether it’s tending to car needs, cooking or in this case dressing for success. Thinking outside the box, doing some team bonding experiences they all seem to enjoy and giving valuable lessons that will help outside of a ballgame.
