I was unclear, I apologize for that. I didn't mean he was offered a scholarship to come here, I was just trying to note that he was someone who was offered a spot on the team and not just a traditional walk-on who enrolled at the campus without an invitation from the coaching staff to play for the program. It is correct that he's a preferred walk-on. I was primarily going off the Rivals data to see how effective this staff was at recruiting high school quarterbacks and how much interest recruits got from other programs on the FBS level.
…what?
So...according to research, he's a walk on

I should have initially stated Neven was a preferred walk on. Today I am saving money by watching MACC from home instead of flying to Detroit. Hope Rocky can come back a be in Detroit next year!

Alright. Try not to fight each other too much. All this losing has us going at each other's throats for the most petty of reasons.
Losing seasons across major sports has me as torn up as anyone. Our once mid major dominant school is laughable. But going at each other does nothing to fix it. Continue directing that energy at those who can make a difference. At the end of the day, everyone in here bleeds Huskie Red. I am thankful and appreciative of anyone and everyone in here.

RE: We were supposed to be RBU
Who's fighting? This is the best place to discuss Huskie athletics mainly because of the people who post here. I still trust Hammock's evaluation of RBs - Brown was a South Carolina commit before Muschamp was released and he's been very good. Credle had multiple P5 offers and has shown lots of promise as a true freshman. As long as they both return next season, the run game should continue to be a strength. With the transfer portal, RBs who feel they'll get more quality carries elsewhere are always going to transfer - it doesn't necessarily mean a program isn't still doing a great job recruiting and coaching them up. Recruiting high school QBs and defenses are probably the bigger concern with Hammock and his staff.
