All because EMU won a few more games than us this year and won a bowl game. Somehow that matters I guess...

It does matter. How about 0-6 in the MAC just a few years ago. Yes it does sting Eastern is in a bowl this year and NIU isn’t. A FEW more wins stings. This board used to complain non stop about not winning a bowl game. Wow times have changed.

One off? 15 years of classes with MAC titles and EMU has not won in 35 years and we have falled below them? LMAO....LMAO....We just popped them 39-10 in a down year...LMAO....

Also to clarify I enjoy NIU football and even ran into coach Hammock and his family after the MACC last year. He is a very pleasant individual. I am frustrated and feel I can vent here now and then. As I stated earlier I hope Rocky comes back next next year for a full season. I would love to go to Detroit in December to watch another MACC with a Huskie victory and another championship for coach Hammock.

My goodness. 7 MAC West titles in 12 years. 5 Conference Championships in that same time. Including 2 of the last 4. This is a program that begs for money to buy eggs and waffle makers to feed the players yet was two injuries away from likely being in the conversation for an 8th west title and 6th conference title.

The price of raised expectations that comes with winning I guess.

Are you seriously confusing "not winning a bowl game" with "far behind EMU"?

The two aren't even remotely the same thing and only one of those things has happened recently.

(Hint: it has nothing to do with Eastern Michigan)
