Nor are we going to get anybody from U-M staff.

Move on.
Why would we not hire somebody from the UM staff? They are the most successful coaching staff in the state right now. The last time Western, Central, or Eastern hired a HC, it was a UM assistant. Our current AD’s first choice for the basketball job was a UM assistant.

Let me rephrase that - no assistant from U-M staff is going to take our job.

I think it makes sense for Hart & Jay Harbaugh. Hart is a position coach who is blocked by Weiss & Moore. So, if he has an interest in becoming a HC, Western makes sense for him. It also makes sense because he's coached in KZoo. For Jay, he's 33 years old. UM folks think he could be the successor to his Dad some day. It makes sense for him to get some HC experience now.

I do not think Moore would take the job. He's more like Saddi at this point in his coaching career.

I will bet you dollars to donuts no coach on current U-M staff is a serious candidate (interviews) much less takes our job.

No thanks to any UM staffers. They were born on 3rd base when they took their roles. UM simply out talents everyone they play. They have 4 and 5 stars lining up to play.

Mike Hart was a RB coach at Eastern, Western, & Indiana before he became the Michigan RB coach.

Sherrone Moore was a GA & TE coach at Louisville, TE coach at Central, & TE coach at Michigan before he became an OC.

I'll concede your point on Jay Harbaugh.

They don't out talent Ohio St.

Lou's a great guy, the players love him. That and to watch you people melt down around here would be worth the price of admission.

Just like you melted down with Fleck was hired?

Azz-clown.

Which is why they get their azz beat in bowl games against teams with similar talent. Note that Pig Ten collectively played 42 non-conference games last season...only 1 win against a Power Five team with a winning record, and that was Notre Dame, which lost to Marshall the following week.
