Of course, we have played some terrible teams, but we beat them all soundly. Including Vandy, who isn't terrible. I wont get my hopes up until UNLV and some conf games.
I watched the Northwestern State game last night vs.stephen austin.. even though it was like 102-92 or something like that, it seemed like they were playing a ton of "street ball" that didn't go their way til late in the 2nd half. (Maybe it was just who they were playing?)
And then Lamar-Texas State game. If that's not a blow out in our favor in those two games... something went drastically wrong. Like their superstar player was shorter than the female ref and was horrible.
I could find anything to watch on Mcneese.. so yeah, we _should_ be 12-0 when we hit UNLV.
I'll say i can see one slip up in the NWS game, because they had a ton of tall, but I'm trust coach to out-coach them on that one.
As for the quad wins.. vandy is still _currently_ a Quad 3 in RPI (waiting on the NET numbers.. i thought they were supposed to be out yesterday, but I haven't seen them yet.)

I think, the Montana win is just as important as probably a couple of the other 'big name' schools.. since Montana's been the big sky champ for god knows how many years straight... and the incredible fact, was Pinckney (I think they said Pinckney) was the only player on our current roster who had any points when we played them last year..
Quote:Jay had one decent year at Southeastern that led to a First Round exit in the NIT. Other than that, he was not great. 76-88 overall.
I think Juan Cardona's been the key to the turnaround among the coaches, from what I read, a lot of the new roster has been kids he coached or coached against in Miami school districts...
