RE: COACHING CHANGE
It is really a matter of hiring two good coaches in a row. If we had hired an equivalent basketball coach to Forbes we would still be a top 40 program. If we had hired an equivalent coach to Sanders we would have a top 20 FCS football program. We have to stop hiring clunkers to replace our good coaches.

Unfortunately you are ignoring that Forrbes and Sanders didn't have to deal with the portal, NIL and the rise of lower division FBS.The landscape for college football and basketball has drastically changed in the last two years.

Yes but Forbes was ahead of the curve on transfers. He proved that we could get quality transfers and win championships with those players. Then Coach Paris did it at UTC and got a P5 job out of it. Any coach must work transfers to win and it can be done. Coach O has brought in some real talent with Haynes and Taylor. When all these players meld together I think we can start winning the SoCon again.

But it sure is a bigger draw than coming in last place.

RE: COACHING CHANGE
I think we should be thinking of the path forward. What should all the mid-major schools in the same boat with ETSU do to keep on going?
