The government is trying to get control of what is being posted on these platforms which is why they want to create laws to fine these companies, and try to tear them apart. One thing is, the rules are put in their Terms of Service long beofre the government is making a stink about it. One thing is if you want to stay and use these social networks? Don't violate their TOS, or you will be banned for good. The government did not put those TOS in place. It was crafted by the social media companies and their legal teams.

You literally typed that as Musk has confirmed Twitter interfered with elections in the past.... just wait until he releases how.

Coordination with the the feds to interfere with elections is criminal and absolutely a 1st ammendment issue.

Why doesn't anyone on the right alert Elon Musk to the fact that Twitter allowed over 50,000 verified accounts (celebs, actors/actresses, singers, athletes, news reporters etc.) to tweet stuff like "I hate white people", "I hope white people die", "I want white genocide" etc.?

The one guy who started the #verifiedhate tag showed all of those people making racist anti-white tweets and Twitter didn't ban a single one of those 50,000+ accounts who tweeted them. They infact banned the guy who exposed all of them instead saying he was the white supremacist. Twitter has a long history of allowing free speech as long as it's aimed at being racist to white people.

This is what pisses me off about republicans too. They're too gutless to hit back at democrats and point out the fact that they've done everything they accuse right wingers and white people of doing. They need to start calling out anti-white racism for once and not let the left get away with the double standard.

There's only a handful of those compilations of these tweets that are still saved out there while Twitter deleted that guys accounted so all of them are gone but here's one of them that was kept. And if you search these people you'll realize none were banned.
