I know I started this as a joke toward the schools (and fans of them) owning the players, but I wouldn't be surprised if something like this eventually happens. Scholarship allotments seem as good as any vehicle.

S Christian Rapley is in the portal. The first player to enter after spring ball and another in a long line of highly-ranked recruits that either never make it to campus, or leave after a year or two. I believe he was only PWO though. Came in late in the recruiting cycle.
