Tulane would very much be borrowing him for 2-3 years, it would not be a long term hire.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Hell, Notre Dame and Oklahoma are losing head coaches to lateral moves now. I honestly didn't think Fickell would jump for Wisconsin, but he did, and was apparently talking to them for weeks without any of us knowing it, so nothing surprises me anymore in regards to coaches leaving for supposedly greener pastures. Find the guy who can win the most games the quickest, and worry about what happens if he leaves when it happens.

Please someone take him. With our lame admin he’ll be at Memphis as long as he has a heart beat & our program will look just like it did when we joined the AAC.
