It’s the win before the loss. Enjoy until the game is actually played.

Said in the boycott thread. No one follows the MAC, but knows our name. Its not like either were competitive in their national TV games vs. B1G squads. Toledo will have Finn. Ohio wont have Rourke.

Rourke's backups have proven to be very good. Can we score with two injured QB's and no offensive line?

If we dont turn it over, shank 9 yard punts and make our field goals its possible! Its hard to have 400 yard game after 400 yard game and just kill all momentum with those mistakes. PLAYER mistakes at that. Im also sick of losing and at the end of the day Ill place some of that on Candle. Just not all of it.

The Cleveland Browns have scored on the 1st drive 7 times, and have lost all of em this season. That shows the squad can be scripted to do great things. 4th down in the 4th qtr today, Amari cooper has a wide open stand still pass for 20 yards and dropped it like a grade schooler would. Im not yelling at the HC for that BS. But the guys are paid so maybe theres just more individual responsibility at that level.

Unreal? Obviously the odds makers haven't watched a down of UT football. [Image: 939695672b51bdbabc4350b07c4c0268.jpg]

RE: How are we favored against Ohio?
I would be shocked if Toledo loses by anything less than 15. The defensive recipe against Toledo seems pretty simple now, overrun the middle of the offensive line and make Toledo beat you with the passing game. There is no run game. If Finn is unable to run in the MACC, I would expect more interceptions and rolling around on the turf in pain. The under recruitment and development of a FBS capablel offensive line has blossomed into a disaster this season. I wouldn't be surprised if Gleason transferred. Ohio just gave BG a beatdown without their starting QB. I expect the same for Toledo.

IF Finn can't run with a authority, I think you have play Gleason. Finn penchant to run out of a sack is the big part of the offensive game, sad to say. He does throw better while running. Gleason isn't going anywhere, the only reason he possibly would leave is because of Candle leaving. I see Fickle is gone from UC. Candle's name has been mentioned as a successor.

What's that tell you? That a lot of gamblers took the +4 1/2 with Ohio and that drove the odds down. I'm still taking Ohio with the +1 1/2. I don't gamble beyond the stock market, but this is too good to pass up. If nothing else, if Toledo wins, losing the money won't bother me (it won't be much).

Rumor I saw today is that Meyer would go to Cinci. 03-idea I'd feel pretty comfortable in saying Candle won't be a candidate, unless as an OC. I doubt he has a relationship with Meyer through Beckman that is worth anything.

Ryan Day getting a lot of heat down in C'bus. Just saw the story about the son of former Toledo lineman (who I don't remember) is headed to Michigan instead of OSU because Day had not offered him yet. Don't know if that is a good decision or not by Day on a 4* recruit and 6'6" 290.

Its the end of the year. A lot more moving and shaking about to happen

Steve Hamilton's son...Steve played OL in the early 90's. Congrats to them both!
