We watched MBB beat VCU 75-74 at the Hall.
Then we went to the Person Room to watch the football team beat Southern Illinois 24-10.

I don’t mean to nitpick, but the final score was 24-3. Memorable for me because the Tribe went to 3rd seeded highly regarded SIU and kept them from even scoring a TD. That was a great day.

David Caldwell from that ‘09 squad has to be one of my favorite safeties of all time. So physical.

I looked it up- that year Montana was the 1 seed, Nova 2, SIU 3. I’m still mad about that Nova semifinal. We had them!

That was definitely a great W&M win, but I don't think anything will beat when I was at the coliseum when W&M had their magical run and Liamus Kisileus hit that shot against VCU with like one second left to go to the finals. The amount of hateful things I heard from VCU fans that game made me so happy that we won

And he was cut. Such a great defense. Just stuffed SIU's run game, their featured back (I think Karim) overshadowed by Grimes.

We were in Carbondale, getting updates of the VCU game from a friend on the phone, and then sharing those with the Tribe crowd. What a magical day. And yes, the SIU fans were very nice.

We had some energized games with VCU. When did the VCU guy kick the ball in the stands?

Minimize turnovers to zero and avoid those stupid 15-yard penalties...and we should be fine.

Yes. After a sack or third down stop we do not need GW drives extended by penalty. Hope refs call the game fairly, if they call it tight, that is fine, but call it both ways.

Can’t get in our own way and beat ourselves. That goes for both the coaches and players. Other than that, we should roll. Go Tribe!

How do the field conditions look?
Watching the UNH game and it is absolutely a factor. Turnovers, muffed fg holds, and going for it on 4th in obvious punt situations.

Apparently, we are down a couple of regulars, but Coach and Jay didn't say who would miss the game. I guess we'll see soon.

I'm not there, so don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure Hollis is done for the year. He had his leg in one of those rolling contraptions that you don't put any weight on it during the UR game.
