If Fritz is leaving, we should be on the phone with replacements and ruin someone else's season while we're at it. There is no point in being classy about this.

He’d be nuts to go to GT. That is a dead end job.

Tulane was at one point.

I swear, it's almost like you don't want your coaches to win TOO much. Just stall out at 8-4 and nobody touches them.

Yes, this "fly under the radar" tactic is how Silverfield maintains a low profile at MEMPHIS, only in reverse (best season first):

2020: 8-3 (5-3) with Montgomery Bowl game win in COVID19 impacted season
2021: 6-6 (3-5) with Hawaii Bowl cancelled day before the game
2022: 6-6 (3-5) awaiting the bowl invitation

This strategy works; no other team has reached out to CRS for his services. Dude is absolutely brilliant.

Right, coach Houston did the same thing for ECU with consecutive 7-5 seasons. Another win or 2 and we’d be sweating it out right now.

RE: Will Tulane Retain Fritz?
I am bumping this. A lot of rumors surrounding this have been dispelled or over the past evening.

- Fritz hasn't formaklly interviewed.
- Fritz son Wes(tulane player/personnel), was rumored to have followed GT players on Twitter. That is false.
- Tulane beat reported states CWF is a cacandidate but there is no offer or anything like that.

Everyone remember last Tuesday and Wednesday when Lane Kiffen was gone to Auburn?

Wes absolutely torpedoed Georgia Southern's recruiting site on his way out.
