O.T.--Christine McVie--R.I.P.
Fleetwood Mac's secret weapon-- Christine McVie-- passed away yesterday.

Her music and words inspired a generation.
A soulful, straight forward singer, writer, and keyboardist is gone.

"Sweet wonderful you" [You make loving fun]

Rest in peace-- Great One. 04-rock

Beautiful voice. Overshadowed by Stevie Nicks, a great talent too, of course, but McVie was a tremendous contributor to the success of Fleetwood Mac. Hard to believe she was 79. I'm getting old...

She was the oldest member of the band (the main one when they were the #1 band in the world in the 70's). John McVie is 77, Mick Fleetwood 75, and then Lindsay and Stevie a few years younger than that. But she never really looked her age.

It's stunning how much musical talent Great Britain impacted upon the world in the 1960's and 1970's. I think every child born in England during World War II grew up with their parents teaching them the piano.

RIP - the Chevy EV Everywhere commercials are going to be a lot sadder to listen to now.

Stevie was easier on the eyes, Christine was easier on the ears.
