And that’s really the deal, isn’t it?

I love the prevalence of 100,000 ft. gross generalizations as the truth to everything around here.

That reply makes no sense.

I was simply saying that the side that lauds corrupt morons like those, and countless more, shouldn't call ANYONE a joke.

Is Pillow Guy a genius? Hardly. But, is he any worse than those listed above, or Fetterman, or Hochul, or 90% of Dem politicians? Nope.

Mike is a ton better than most in either gang. He as actually "built" a business and signed paychecks..unlike most of the losers in Washington that have never "created" a damn thing. He might not come off as some genius..but I would not underestimate him. He did not accomplish the things he has done by being stupid. Being a success in business takes luck..but it also takes determination and dedication. He is probably a pretty tough guy when the door is closed behind him.

Good news for the GOP, unsuccessful gubernatorial candidate and outgoing Representative Lee Zeldin will not challenge Ronna Romney McDaniel for RNC chair. I'm not sure how RNC chair elections work, but too many candidates might risk allowing the crazy Pillow Man to win with a plurality much like Trump won your 2016 Presidential nomination -

"Lee Zeldin Won’t Run for RNC Chair
December 7, 2022 at 10:07 am EST By Taegan Goddard 26 Comments

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) announced he will not be challenging Ronna McDaniel for Republican National Committee chair.

Said Zeldin: “I won’t be running for RNC Chair at this time with McDaniel’s reelection pre-baked by design, but that doesn’t mean she should even be running again.”

He added: “Republican voters already believe that Washington, D.C. is an irredeemable swamp. They will be proven right, yet again, if Chairwoman McDaniel moves forward with running for a fourth term, despite her prior pledge not to do so.”

He's right. DC IS a swamp. It's nothing but a uniparty playing their own games for their own ends and pitting all of us against each other, and your ilk simply can't see it.

I think criticisms of DC being a "uniparty" are less valid than at some points in the past, there are HUGE and substantive policy differences between the two parties. I suppose from the MAGA perspective though Democrats and establishment Republicans are both for the orderly operation of government under the rule of law vs. blowing everything up and allowing the mob to rule, so perhaps it makes sense that way. I think that's at the heart of the GOP's problem, there just aren't enough voters who want to effectively shut down the federal government, and your dalliances with extremism have cost you too many votes from those who might otherwise support your policy positions.

Jesus you babble a lot.

They pretend there are policy differences to appease their bases. Pretend is the operative word. They're mostly in lock step with each other.

Ever heard the term "useful idiots"?

I saw a commentary that current chair Romney-McDaniel has overseen a party loss in like every election since she's been in charge.

So, by all means, keep her around. Please!

Yes, RRM is doing a great job in DC! -

"No RNC Chair in the history of the whole party, beginning in 1856, has lasted as long as Ronna McDaniel without seeing at least one winning election season. The GOP has lost every election cycle since she took the job in 2017."
