This should be a good neutral court test even though the JackRabbits lost a lot from last year’s 30 win team. The side story is good too with Friedel playing against his former team and his former coach. Not sure if these two are best of friends anymore after what transpired there. It is hard to argue with the coach’s results though as South Dakota State was actually better after Friedel left the team in the middle of the year.

I suspect Byington presses the crap out of them. Letting them walk the ball up the court and run half court sets is a recipe for disaster with the number of shooters they have.
Last year Friedel shot 40% from 3pt territory and he was the SIXTH best 3pt shooter on their team.

Can Nacho play yet? I know the broken finger is on his dominant hand, but the Dukes need him in order to be the best they are going to be this year.

Nice little win for the Dukes today. Perhaps we have found the secret mojo with hoops games starting at the same time as football games. This is the second time it has happened this season and both resulted in blowout wins.

21 turnovers forced by the Dukes and that is a good sign.
Wish I could have watched the game or at least had a replay available later.
Now Back to football and stomping the chickens.
