RE: FIRE CANDLE !!!!
Every season has led us to at least 2 losses that should never have occurred.

RE: FIRE CANDLE !!!!
History repeats itself. UT had a head coach named Dan Simrell who insisted on being his own offensive coordinator and calling the plays. His teams never did a whole lot better than .500. The AD finally pulled the plug and took a chance on a guy with no head coaching experience. He knew the MAC well because he had played at Kent State. That guy was of course Nick Saban. He turned the program around in his first year, even though many of the guys quit the team because his coaching style was so very different. We need a new Nick Saban. The program needs discipline and a new direction. This is the time to make the move.

Brian Blair could replicate what Al Bohl did …

Could end up with 10,000-12,000 for Texas Southern and 15,000-17,000 for San Jose St.
Top that with a possible recession.

RE: FIRE CANDLE !!!!
I wonder if there is UM assistant that would have aspirations of being g a head coach for a mid major, like UT ? Salary I believe would have to be somewhere around 1.2 million a year.
