Not sure why you'd think I'd be insecure. There's nothing to be insecure about. Houston is going to put a defensive clinic on the flashes. I'm having a conversation.

Maybe you want to talk about why you are insecure? Have you been rejected by Houston in the past and feel the need to talk them up so hopefully they will love you?
Nothing I've posted has inferred anything about anyone's character.

Now your posts are undermining me personally.

Do you want to have a basketball conversation about your flashes or did you want to play mind games with your simple psychology?

I generally try to avoid talking to people as insecure as you because insecure people are very biased and hence the conversations are really 'fact'-based.

So you don't want to have a basketball conversation and would rather have your little mind game assault?

If you want to be an adult about it and want to leave your simple mind games,.how about sharing with me what makes the flashes so good.this year.

Whatever, like Houston will be anything we haven't already seen. This is our 3rd straight game playing a team named the Cougars how different can they be? Get an original name.

Agree, Bopol. The only thing that miffed me was the statement that Kent State would be taught how to play defense, which was an unfair shot. If he would have said that Houston is a better team and will win fairly easier, I wouldn't have cared, as that is a logical conclusion when the number #2 ranked team in the nation is playing an unranked mid-major at home.
Like I said earlier, my initial response was from the joke prediction of Kent 137, Houston 2.

What was unfair about saying Hou is going to put a clinic on defense? It's going to be true. They are the #1 defense in the nation.

How about sharing with me how Kent is going to win?

Since you've already associated this team and will no different than the other Houston Cougar teams, what is your score prediction?

Go Flashes!

Go ahead and ignore me. I haven't said anything personally.

You're not going to be able to ignore the final score though. ?

My prediction is Bobby Boucher shows up at halftime and the MudDogs win the Bourbon Bowl.

Sounds great. Adam Sandler would be proud.

Not enough teams are named after birds. Though, honestly, I kind of prefer Silver Foxes over Golden Flashes.

Kent State looks to be a good team. Very solid. Based on my research, it looks like they can shoot 3's as well.

However, it doesn't look there's much depth or size outside of the starting center. Two of the Flashes guards totaled 37 min last game and now have to play in Houston on just two days rest.

Houston is going to put a clinic on defense and show Kent state how it's done.

It's entirely possible Houston, being ranked #2, plays better defense than Kent State, but I assure you that Kent State doesn't need anybody to show them "how it's done".

I assure you Houston is going to show the flashes how defense is played on every level including their 3rd string unit. Houston will exploit Kent State and wear them down.

Still waiting for #2 to show KSU how defense is played.

Too many missed open shots in the first half. Game should be a Kent blowout right now.

Hou has played their worst offensive game all year.

Kent State had everything to make this a blow out. But Houston has shut down the Flashes offense with 0 points in 8+ minutes straight.

Flashes look good but not scoring might be costly.

Lots of teams tend to look worse on offense against us. Guessing the same is true of you guys.

Kent shut themselves down for 8 minutes. Of the 25 missed fgs at least 15 of them were wide open shots. Houston had a bunch of defensive break downs.

Houston's defense had a lot to do with that. Just like our defense had a lot to do with their struggles. I disagree that we were missing open shots. We had decent looks but usually with a man in our face. Missed a couple open mid range jumpers but that was about it.

Hou has a lot to do with that. All of the Flashes shots were contested.
