I have the same frustrations with ALo that many have, but the article in the CA says a lot about his character. Even when he's not at his physical and/or mental best, he cares. He works. He loves the program. There is something to be said for that.

I have great charactor/moral/spirit everything that makes a great teammate.....With that being said...I would admittedly sacrifice myself if I knew the team would be better served...That's what a "real" man of character does for his team and his city....

I will say that ALo has won several games for us with his hustle near the end of the games. I would also say that ALo has lost even more for us with his terrible basketball IQ, skills, and talents.

If ALo has stayed at Wichita St., he would have been recruited over the very next season, pushed down to the end of the bench and probably transfered out, to have the same thing happen wherever he transfered.

He tried to get paid this last off season and found out that no one, even overseas, wants a 5-10 pg who constantly makes boneheaded decisions and can't shoot to save his own life. There are literally a billion chinese overseas that fit that exact description.

Don’t know what the logic is but there is obviously something besides objectivity that has Penny playing Alo over better talent.
