Unfortunately for me, I came up just short; I fell behind by as many as seven picks at the end of week 3. I seriously considered MTSU in the Hawaii Bowl but really thought SDSU would be the winner.

So with UNT leaving CUSA it looks like I'll also leave without any hardware as this will be my third runner-up finish (2016, 2017, 2022).

I didn’t want people to feel I was bragging or make them feel less about themselves due to my overwhelming success.
