I know I’m just being a pessimist, but for some reason this game reminds me of our last football game against Memphis, where we were a pretty good favorite and Memphis waxed the field with us.

I just worry that this is the week all of the coaching distractions catches up to us, and I may have to commit Seppuku if Louisiana freaking Tech sends us packing out of C-USA with a loss to end a losing season.

I think the players will feel like they are playing to make a statement about BV and the program and will play well.

The next road game we win this year will be the first. I have zero reason to believe we will win this game. Maybe I’ll be wrong and we will play our best game away from home this week.

I certainly hope not but I definitely see it as a blowout in UAB’s favor or a straight loss. A lot of distractions for sure.
