Last chance to get 6 wins. I haven't watched them at all but judging by their W-L record they're a lot like us in the fact that they can unexpectedly put a good game together every now and then. We're a few plays going the other way from having the same record or worse so this one doesn't look like it's going to be easy either.

On the other hand, we're a few plays going the other way from being bowl eligible, just not quite good enough to tip it in our favor.

The offensive line struggles in both run and pass blocking. I'm guessing we run up the middle a lot because we don't have the speed or blocking to go outside reliably. Hopefully Hall isn't blowing smoke when he says recruiting is going well because this area feels like it needs the most help. I hope whoever said this is Lowe's last year is wrong because I think he's far and away the best QB that's lined up for us this year. Who knows, with a little more game time under his belt he makes a few more throws or does a better job scrambling.

I mean I'd like to go bowling.. We'll see what happens.. It's been a fun season.. I don't think we'd be having this under Hop.

This thing could be close or it could end up a blowout in either direction depending on which side, either, or both click on that particular day. ULM’s season kinda reverse-images ours in that they had losing streak in the middle but have won 2 out of their last 3 whereas we won 3 in a row in the middle and haven’t been able to find a W since.

Well, they beat GA State, but these are two teams that are hard to predict. I still haven’t figured out that GA St. whipping.

It would be nice to see this team get the win and finish with an even 6-6 record. It will be a more positive way to enter next season than finishing 5-7 off a 3 game losing streak. While a bowl would be nice, I'm under no illusion that Southern Miss will get one with a 6-6 record.

I actually thought the offensive line was doing very well during the first half of the season. Not that I thought they were great, but felt they were vastly improved and doing a respectable job. Since the Georgia State game, I don't know what to think.

I also would like to see Trey Lowe get a win under his belt as I feel his last two efforts were good enough to get a win. But they were playing two of the better Sun Belt opponents. I still think this team has a chance to have a very good season next year, but will need a good QB to do so. That's why I'm hoping Lowe decides to stay. If he doesn't, I hope Hall will seriously check out the transfer portal to find an experienced QB who can confidently lead the team right from the very first game.

There probably won't be enough 6-6 teams to fill all the bowls. But, even if there were espn said they will create bowls for any 6-6 teams. So we go bowling if we get to 6-6.

I had not heard that. It appears that there are enough bowls. I just read where there are 41 bowl games and prior to this weekend there were 73 bowl eligible teams. There's obviously more now, but I doubt they made it to 82 teams. So it will be interesting to see who we will play and where.
